Dear Resident,
Perry Barr Neighbourhood update – 21/08/2026 – 31/08/2026 Welcome to this week’s crime and community update for the Perry Barr area. Our neighbourhood team remains committed to tackling key crime issues affecting residents, especially around domestic abuse, robbery, burglary, and vehicle crime. We also continue to engage with schools and local partners to provide early intervention and support.
🛑 Crime Updates
Burglary – There has been one reported burglary on Church Road. This incident happened between 9:53pm on 28/08/2026 and 8:22pm on 01/09/2026. There have been two reported attempt burglaries, one on Ipswich Crescent between 9:15am and 9:30am on 27/08/2026. Other one happened between 7pm and 7:09pm on Nash Square.
➡️ Please remain vigilant and review your home security — consider alarms, CCTV, and good lighting.
Vehicle Crime
Theft of a motor vehicle.
Perry Villa Drive. Incident happened between 5pm on 29/08/2026 and 8am on 01/09/2026. Theft from a motor vehicle.
Brookvale Road. Incident happened between 12am and 2:30am on 23/08/2026. Walsall Road. Incident happened between 11pm and 11:45pm on 22/08/2026. Rocky Lane. Incident happened between 9:50om and 10pm on 30/08/2026.
➡️ Key-less entry theft remains a concern. Please use Faraday pouches, remove visible items, and consider physical deterrents like steering wheel lock.
Team Highlights
29/08/2026 - Our local NHT officers were delighted to attend a community event at Grosvenor Road Studios. It was great engaging with local residents.
